We like to take a slow approach to Christmas here.

No throwaway decorations, no plastic tinsel — just beautiful, lasting things chosen to become part of how your family does Christmas. Many of the pieces we stock all year come into their own at this time of year — a peg rail hung with fresh Eucalyptus, beeswax candles on a winter table, a woollen blanket that earns its place even more in December.

The decorations we do sell are ones we'd stake our reputation on. Brass and paper garlands and decorations that come out year after year, added to gradually over time — for Christmas, for celebrations, for any occasion that deserves a bit of a fuss. The kind of things you find yourself reaching for long after December is over.

It's our intention that everything you find here will still be with you — or with whoever you give it to — for many Christmases to come. Small things that quietly become traditions.
