Hand-thrown at the historic Leach Pottery in St Ives, these bowls reflect a century-old tradition of craftsmanship and quiet utility. Each is shaped in stoneware clay and reduction-fired to achieve a soft, creamy Dolomite glaze.

Care information

- Hand wash recommended to preserve the glaze
- Oven and microwave safe: bring to room temperature before placing in a hot oven.
- The unglazed rim may darken slightly with use — this is natural, and part of the character of handmade stoneware.

These bowls are lovely, come in 3 sizes all of which I aspire to own. The smallest is perfect for olives, pistachios and dips, the larger for crisps or salad. The glaze is a pretty speckled pale blue and the rim is unglazed giving a dark contrast to the pale. And it is hand made.
