Large Sheepskin Rug | Natural Nappa

A long, generous, dense rug made from two full New Zealand sheepskins joined end to end, with deep, soft wool in a warm natural tone.

At roughly 190cm long, it will run the length of a sofa or the foot of a bed, or drape over an armchair and pool on the floor. The wool is naturally insulating and breathable, and it shrugs off dirt better than you'd expect.

The skins are a by-product of pastoral farming in New Zealand, where sheep are raised outdoors for meat. They're tanned using minimal chemicals, in production powered partly by solar energy and recycled heat.
