The days are getting shorter and, although we had an unseasonably beautiful start to October here in Cornwall, soon our evenings will be less about adventurous escapes and more about finding joy in the small, cosy moments at home.
At the core of Alice in Scandiland is the celebration of everyday home essentials.

Your morning coffee mug, handmade, with a story to tell. Washing gathered autumn berries in a beautiful enamel colander. Mixing up a crumble in a Leachware bowl, regarded globally as a design classic.
Everyday activities, made a little extra special.

As the light dims, add a twinkle to the room with our collection of classic Änglaspel. Whether you opt for the traditional Northern Star design, the best selling Oak or the nostalgia of one of our longest stocked items, the Moomins, these rotary candle holders really do bring the magic.

One of our favourite things about the colder seasons are the scents that come with it. From the warming aroma of Tinder Box, with notes of tobacco and old spice, to our new Stig L Berså Leaf Candle, which will take you on a wonderland stroll through the Swedish forest. As always, all our candles are made from natural wax. Once finished, repurpose the glass jars throughout the home, storage in the bathroom, pantry…
Swap out those iced evening treats for a luxurious hot chocolate. Embrace the process and take joy mixing the hot milk with a scoop of Harth chocolate in one of our enamel saucepans. Savour every sip, as you wrap your fingers around a Clæ Beldi Beaker, keeping them toasty and warm.

Whatever your taste, we have four delicious flavours of this gorgeous hot chocolate for you to choose from, Original, Winter Solstice, Cinnamon and Smokey chilli.

Have you lit the fire yet? It's time to bring the logs in and settle in for the night with a good book.

There’s nothing cosier than a stack of wood by the fireplace, keep it tidy and looking beautiful with one of our Wood Baskets or in our best selling Conical Baskets (available to pre order now).
We hope you can find the good things in the darkening days, the small seasonal joys, created in ordinary moments.
